• PIE uses multiple Tier 1 providers, Public and Private peering points to provide you with over 1.1 milion network routes on our Multi Homed Fiber Optic only network.
• We use Black Diamond 6808 core routers with Gig-E fiber optic to all of our providers and peers.
• Our core network uses 4 core routers at 2 locations connected in a Metro Ring setup for total redundancy.
• Different providers and peers come into each core router for instant rollover if one core router experiences difficulties.
• We only use multi-mode GIG-E fiber optic from our core network routers to the Edge switches.
• We only use Extreme Edge switches in our network to keep a Homogeneous Network.
• Each Edge switch is connected to two different core routers for 2 second roll over if one core router fails to respond.
• Edge switches are rate limited to 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps.
• Servers connected to our edge switches are rate limited to 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps.
• We only use Fast Ethernet CAT 6 cabling for highest performance.
• Our Minimum Billable Amount is 5 Mbps.
• Additional Bandwidth is invoiced based on actual Plan(s) selected.
• No one is faster or more stable for high traffic hosting.
